6th Grade
Leaders Motivate Others
We lead to motivate others in an inspiring vision of the future.
Sixth-graders learn that leaders, past and present across multi-disciplines and other countries, motivate others to take action for a better future. They learn how to become productive members of our global community and contributing citizens by analyzing current state and evaluating complex solutions in order to take practical action for improvement using a process of inquiry to action
Arid Lands, Sparse Water - How can we take a leadership role in motivating others to create and implement sustainable solutions to reduce the impacts of human activities on the environment?
Leadership in the Western Hemisphere - How did leadership and motivation play a part in the development of the Western Hemisphere?
Taking it Global - How can we actively engage and connect with others in order to shape a more inclusive, peaceful, and sustainable world?

I am passionate about creating a culture in which students feel safe and supported in learning. I find that empowering students and allowing them to work in ways that best suit their own learning styles produces students who are passionate lifelong learners. My goal is to inspire students to love to learn and to stretch their comfort zones in a caring, child-centered environment.
