Shanna Conn

I am thrilled to welcome you to our 4th grade classroom at Legacy Point Elementary and share my love of learning with you.  My mission statement is: Be prepared, be present, be purposeful. Make a difference!

As a teacher, I take great pride in getting to know each student and helping every one of them work to their full potential. The students are expected to be leaders in our classroom and I will take every opportunity to help them develop independence, responsibility, integrity, and ownership of their learning. Students engagement is critical; I will do everything in my power to help keep students enthused about learning. Beginning with the end in mind, I strive to help each learner be prepared for their next learning opportunity, as well. The Leader In Me, use of the planner, and living the 7 Habits are integral to our classroom culture.
