finding Books

The Battle of the Books takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Douglas County HS. You will need to find a ride or carpool, and expect to be there by 8:30 am. Last year we started right at 9:00am, and the final round was over before 2:00pm.

Please complete this check list ASAP. I am a little late in getting permission slips out so the timeline is a bit crunched.

1. Confirm with your team who is the lead and who is the second on which books and finish up your reading.

2. Double check the date and confirm with your parents that you are free. If you cannot make it, let me know this week.

3. There is an online permission form this year. Please complete that form with your parents in the next couple of days.

4. Fill out the commitment form below.

5. Bring the bottom portion of this form to Mr. Watterson and get your t-shirt.

6. See you on February 7!
