This applies if you are retiring, transferring to another school district or resigning. Your laptop, and/or iPad will need to be left at the school with the principal or you can give it to the Technology department at the District office.

You may take your laptop with you to your new school. The iPad assigned to you will stay at your previous school.

Before you drop off your laptop or iPad you will need to backup any data you want to keep, both on the computer and the iPad. If you have a Mac or an iPad, or both you will need to sign out of iCloud on both devices. It is extremely important that you do this so that we can reset the devices for the next user.

There are many ways to backup your data. One of the most common ways is to use an external hard drive or thumb/USB drive. With an external hard drive you can drag and drop your files from your computers hard drive right into the external drive.
Another method of backing up is to use a cloud service. Examples of these services include a personal google drive account, dropbox, iCloud, or microsoft onedrive.
If you have data on an iPad you will need to sync your iPad to a personal iCloud account. Explanation of how to do this is on the iPad page of this website.
