How to Shave, Shape, and Form your Beret
When shaving your beret, don't excessively shave it! Shaving it too much will show the black under layer underneath.
You may not have your beret shaped correctly the first time. Sometimes you may need to shape it multiple times to have it fixed correctly.
Over the duration of wearing your beret, there are times where it needs to be reshaped.
If you don't have a ball, you can shape it while it's on your head.
Also, do not cut the tag off from your beret.
How to do a Sock or Doughnut Bun
Twists and braids in a bun are apart of regulation.
Use hair spray, mouse, or gel if necessary to keep your hair down.
If preforming the sock bun, it would be better to use two tube socks.
When creating this hair piece, have your bobby pins and sock/doughnut match your hair color.
Be careful when placing your bun. Having it too low can interfere with the collar, and having it too high can interfere with your beret.
How to Tie a Tie
Raise the shirt collar and drape the tie around the neck, so the wide end is on the right side and extends about 12 inches below the narrow end.
Cross the wide part of the tie over the narrow part.
Pull the wide end up through the opening at the neck, then down.
Pass the wide end underneath and to the right of the narrow part with the wrong side facing out.
Cross the wide part over and to the left of the narrow part with the correct side facing out.
Pull the wide end up through the opening at the neck.
When bringing it down, pass it through the loop at the front.
Holding the dangling parts with one hand, slide the knot carefully up toward the collar with the other hand until snug, then lower the collar.
