Your next three years of grades will affect your college admissions and eligibility for scholarships

• Get involved in clubs, sports, community service

• Research and apply for scholarships

• Take Pre-PSAT

• Revise and review 4-year plans in Alabama Career Planning System

• Take Advanced Placement (AP) Courses and Exams

• Create an E-portfolio or binder for future college and/or scholarship applications (i.e. community service documentation, reference letters for scholarships, essays)

• Take the PSAT in October-this is a

practice test

• Explore leadership opportunities

• Identify colleges you're interested in attending

• Update resume'

• Review your transcript

• Evaluate family finances for college

• Take an ACT or SAT prep course

• Take the ACT or SAT

• Research and apply for scholarships

• Consider dual enrollment or Advanced Placement (AP) courses

• Take AP Exams

• Practice interview skills

• Revise and review 4-year plans in Alabama Career Planning System

• Take/review
