DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN - GREENE NY


Description:

TEKsystems' client in the Binghamton, NY area is looking for a LEVEL 2, Desktop Technician to join their team on a contract to hire basis! On a daily basis, this candidate will be providing both operational and project support. This technician will be assisting the end users on site with issues related to hardware, software, Office 365 etc.

Additional responsibilities include upgrading and supporting devices in person for physical swaps, routing calls, escalating tickets and anything else PC support related that occurs on site. This individual with be the primary technician so clear communication, and excellent documentation will also be required.

Skills:

Active Directory, office 365, ITSM, Microsoft Office

Top Skills Details:

1. 1+ Year of Desktop Experience: Should have hands on desktop support doing hardware and physical upgrades, deployments, swaps, migrations etc. This should be in addition to over the phone help desk support.

2. 1+ Years of Enterprise support: Should have worked in an environment servicing 500+ end users and machines & Active Directory experience.

3. Customer Service and Reliability.
