I am so excited to begin a new school year with everyone. I know it will be an excellent year! This year we will become scientists, friends authors, listeners, mathematicians, speakers, readers, and passionate learners.
Through the use of technology, writing, and project-based learning we will demonstrate our knowledge. I am excited to help all of my students show what passionate learners they can be!
Well-rounded and thoughtful students become well-rounded and thoughtful adults. In our class we use a variety of strategies to teach social-emotional skills as well as executive functioning skills. Being intentional with how we act and the choices we make on a daily basis helps to form an amazing classroom and school community!
About me
Hey Class! This is my 6th year at Heritage Oak and my 10th year in the district. I absolutely love what I do!
I graduated from Sacramento State and I loved it so much that I went back to get my Multiple Subject and Special Education teaching credentials! I am very passionate about teaching diverse learners with different learning styles.
Outside of school, you can find me hanging out with my family. My husband and I have 3 kids at home which keep us pretty busy. I have a son in 3rd grade and a daughter in kindergarten here at Heritage Oak. I also have a 3 year old son. We love to camp, hike, and play sports!
I also love to run, hike, and explore with my family! One of my favorite things to do is visit my favorite Target with my coffee in hand!
