DC International School is an IB-for-all public charter school in Northwest DC. Opened in 2014, our school has raised four classes of successful graduates and continues to serve students from grades six through twelve. All students gain advanced language experience in Chinese, Spanish, or French and go through the rigorous IB Middle Years Programme, which feeds into the Diploma or Career programmes for upperclassmen. The challenging curriculum sets our students up for success in university or in other post-secondary school paths and prepares them for global citizenship.
DC International’s Model United Nations team was established in 2016 and has been running strong as one of our school’s largest clubs. Since then, we’ve held weekly meetings and attended countless conferences, building our legacy and expanding our club. Through it all, we’ve held on to our core mission of promoting inclusivity, fostering a positive environment emphasizing personal growth over competition, and supporting bright and driven individuals to become stronger debaters, leaders, and global citizens.
We are so excited to be hosting our second conference at DC International School this coming fall and hope to see you all there!
