7th Grade Choir
7th Grade Choir
7th Grade Choir is a non-auditioned group of singers within the 7th grade. This group meets every other day and performs a variety of styles and genres of music. This choir performs at two home concerts per year.
Singers within this choir have the opportunity to participate in small group lessons, a solo and small group contest, Opus Honor Choir, a Musical, and Show Choir.
8th Grade Choir
8th Grade Choir
8th Grade Choir is a non-auditioned group of singers within the 8th grade. This group meets every other day and performs a variety of styles and genres of music. This choir performs at two home concerts per year as well as our Oak View Veteran's Day Assembly, at an Iowa Wild Game and Adventureland.
Singers within this choir have the opportunity to participate in small group lessons, a solo and small group contest, Opus Honor Choir, a Musical, and Show Choir.

Solo and Small Group
Solo and Small Group Contest is an opportunity for students to perform a solo or small group piece in front of a small audience and judge. The judge is there to give helpful feedback as well as a rating for the performance. Students will prepare for this Contest in lessons with Ms. Steger.
