About Mrs. Poole
Joanna Poole is a 2005 graduate of Iowa State University, and received her Masters of Education in Teacher Effectiveness and Professional Development from Drake University in 2015. In 2025, Mrs. Poole received a Graduate Certificate in Mathematics from Indiana Wesleyan University. She began her career in education at Dallas Center-Grimes High School. Over the years, she has taught Pre-Algebra and Geometry at the DCG Middle School; Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 at DCG Meadows; and General Math, Algebra 1, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and AP Calculus AB (DMACC Calculus I) and AP Calculus BC at DCG High School.
