Drive past the main entrance and continue into the Faculty Lot*—the same area used for the regular dismissal turnaround. Pull as far up as possible toward the Primary Gym.
*The faculty parking lot is located at the end of our campus and can be accessed off of Sandy Valley Road. If using GPS, the best address is 121 Sandy Valley Rd. The parking lot is across the street from this address, at the bend in Sandy Valley Road.
Once you’re parked, please text our direct EDP line at 781-708-5592. We will notify your student of your arrival, and they will come out to meet you in the Faculty Lot. Younger students will be escorted by a staff member to ensure they get to you safely.
If you’re also picking up a Middle School student along with your EDP child at 4:30, feel free to continue using the Middle School dismissal line—there’s no need to make an additional stop. We will have your child meet you in the middle school dismissal line.

Spring Chess Wizards (Grades 1-5)
Chess Wizards is a premier chess education company providing fun, informative and challenging chess lessons to students in PreK-8th grade. Our program is made for children at every step of their chess journey – no matter the skill level – with classes that build upon each other, starting with the basics and moving toward more advanced lessons as your child progresses from one session to the next. Chess Wizards teaches children how to problem solve, think critically, win graciously, and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their chess experience. At the end of this session, each student would have had the chance to participate in a mini-chess tournament.

SPring Sew Much Fun (Grades 4 & 5)
Get creative with our beginner’s craft class, where you’ll explore a variety of hands-on projects using different materials and techniques! From fabric crafts and paper art to fun DIY projects, you’ll develop fine motor skills, boost creativity, and enjoy the satisfaction of making something unique. This class is all about having fun, making new friends, and bringing your ideas to life through handmade crafts. Plus, each student will receive a craft kit with all the supplies needed for the course. We can’t wait to get started! This class is open to all students in Grades 4 and 5.

Drop-in Comics Club!(Grades 2-5)
TIMID (Scholastic/Graphix) author/illustrator Jonathan Todd will share tips in creating 7 types of cartoons over 7 weeks! Each day will feature self-contained lessons, so you can pick and choose which workshops you’d like to attend!

Cartoon Illustration and Caricatures
We’ll cover the basics on how to draw cartoon figures doing almost anything, a key skill in drawing comics and animation. We’ll also learn the art of drawing caricatures: exaggerated drawings of people to show likeness.

Gag Cartoons
Learn to develop and draw one-panel cartoons that share a funny thought. These type of cartoons are popular in magazines, such as The New Yorker and newspaper comics pages, books and calendars. Ask your parents and grandparents about cartoon features, such as The Far Side, Dennis the Menace, Marmaduke and The Family Circus. In addition to drawing the cartoons in ink, we’ll learn how to use ink washes to make shades of gray in black and white cartoons.

Comic Strips
We’ll learn to think up and draw three- and four panel comic-strips, similar to Garfield, Peanuts, and Calvin and Hobbes! We’ll practice short strips as well as longer, Sunday funnies-style strips with main characters who star in different situations.

Autobiographical Comics
Graphic memoirs are popular among young readers. I share my approach to creating autobiographical comics, and students will be guided to reflect upon personally meaningful moments in their lives and develop precise ways to express these memories—and their significance—in comics form.

Create a Coloring Fun Book!(Grades K-2)
In this class, Scholastic graphic novelist Jonathan Todd (author/illustrator of TIMID) will coach you in creating a coloring and activity book based on a theme of your choosing, such as sea animals or cartoon characters. The class will vote on whatthey want to learn to draw in the first three classes, and during lessons 3-5, you’ll design your own coloring and game pages and cover for your book. In the second to the last week, you’ll paste up your book, and on the last class, Mr. Todd will bring you three copies of your fun book. (And you’re free to make more copies after the course!) SPARK's My First Lemonade STand(Grades K-2)
Learn how to make sweet and tangy lemonade

iCode of Wellesley is the premier STEAM after school and summer camp with programs offered all throughout the year. We offer classes on all 7

Special Effects Movie Making (Grades 1-6)
Become a special effects pro with CinemaKidz! Learn how to create amazing visual effects, awesome make-up looks, prosthetics, props, and costumes to use in an original sci-fi, fantasy, or adventure film. Kids will get creative as they try their hand at various special effects techniques: building prosthetics and masks, combining claymation and live-action videos, experimenting with the potential of green screens, practicing various camera tricks, utilizing stock videos, video filters, and much more! Participants will learn how to make movies from start to finish as they plan, write, film, and edit one awesome SFX-inspired project, utilizing professional software for post-production.
