Mrs. Rebecca Cole 

Art Teacher

Mrs. Cole is the Art teacher at BHS.  She has a Master of Education and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education with a focus on Painting and Printmaking and a Minor in Art History.  She attended Young Harris College and is a proud alumnus of the University of Georgia 2005 and a graduate of BHS 1999. She began teaching in 2005 in South Carolina, where she taught elementary art at Clearwater Elementary and Gloverville Elementary Schools, Pre K-5th grades. Currently, she is in her 19th year teaching art.  She is now teaching art at BHS and sponsors the BHS Art Club. She has served on numerous committees and received the Teacher of the Year Award at Clearwater Elementary School, Bainbridge High School, and was the Decatur County Teacher of the Year.  Mrs. Cole is the President of the Firehouse Arts Council. Mrs. Cole enjoys painting, knitting, birdwatching, listening to music, camping with her husband, and spending time with her friends and family.
