Letter Criteria

To earn a varsity letter you must:

1. Finish the season in good standing

2. Have no unexcused absences from practices or meets

3. Have no DC Extra-Curricular or MSHSL eligibility violations

And:

4. Complete at least two races as a varsity team member or

5. Compete at the WCC or Section Championhips as a varsity athlete or

6. Represent DC as an alternate at sections

Additionally:

7. Any girl that runs faster than 21:00 for 5k will letter

8. Any boy that runs faster than 18:00 for 5k will letter

Finally:

9. All seniors who have successfully completed more than one season of cross-country will earn a varsity letter.
