ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Colorado so you may catch me occasionally staring out at the mountains. Classical education has a special place in my heart because it recognizes the depth of humanity and valiantly strives to fill it. My goal as a teacher is to make my students comfortable with being challenged so that they find themselves worthy of the highest endeavors.

The cleverest and most enjoyable book I've ever read (this one I actually listened to) was a collection of short stories called Jeeves and Wooster by P.G. Wodehouse about a young Brit, Bertie Wooster, who always found himself in a pickle and his butler, Jeeves, who never failed to come to his assistance.

This is a hard question! There's so much to learn in every subject and each one is connected to the next. I have to say, I'm never moved more than when I read a book that has taken an undying human thought or question and made it re-present for the reader.

What I love about Ascent is its culture. From headmaster to teachers to students, everybody is striving towards the truth.

Hiking and reading are my favorite pastimes depending on how lively I'm feeling.
