My favorite book currently is "The Horse and His Boy" by C.S. Lewis. On the surface, the story is an exciting adventure as the characters Shasta, Bree, Aravis, and Hwin all search for external freedom. However, on a deeper level, the four characters all learn internal freedom through the challenges they face along the way. 

My favorite subject is chemistry. The intricacy and order behind the science of matter is beautiful. Chemistry is all around us if you look beneath the surface.

I appreciate Ascent's focus a classical education that strives to form the whole student in mind, body, and heart, through academics, extra-curriculars, and virtue.

I love playing all sports, especially soccer, spikeball, and running. I also enjoy being outdoors in the mountains. When the weather gets cold, I love baking and trying new mediums of art.
