Welcome! If you are an adult living with a mood disorder such as depression or bipolar disorder, we are here for you. The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) is a comprehensive resource for more than 21 million people in the U.S. who live with mood disorders. The DBSA City of Angels Chapter is a peer-run weekly support group based in Los Angeles, CA.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a support group, not an emergency crisis hotline. Please see Mental Health First Aid Resources at the bottom of this page.

ABOUT US

Peer-led Support Groups provide a place where people with mood disorders and those who care about them can share experiences, discuss wellness skills, and offer hope to one another.

DBSA City of Angels is a safe, confidential, and supportive environment. We've been there. We can help.

There is no cost to join our enclave, though we do take donations to cover the costs of running the group.

The facilitators are peers and do not have all the answers.

Monday meetings are in person. Thursdays are via Zoom.

We have Chapter Guidelines and a Social Contract that applies to members and facilitators alike. All members agree to the Social Contract when attending meetings and events.

If we are not the right place and you are looking for a chapter in your local area, additional resources, a meeting for family and friends, or more information about mood disorders - please visit the national organization website at dbsalliance.org.

Please contact info@DBSACityofAngels.com for more information about meetings.
