Purpose
The purpose of the award shall be to encourage attendance at a four year college of a student who has the desire to become a teacher and has successfully completed the requirements for graduation from Daniel Boone Senior High School.

This award shall be made to a student who; has the scholastic ability to indicate success in higher education; has been accepted at a college to pursue the field of education; shows responsible citizenship and character; and has participated in some sort of extra-curricular activity.

Scholarship amount - One time award of $1000
The student applicant shall apply through this website. This link is also available in Naviance.
The student applicant shall be responsible for having three(3) scholarship reference forms filled out. All references shall be from past or present teachers.
The scholarship is awarded after successful completion of your 1st semester courses with an education major.
