Welcome to St Paul's Catholic College
Respect. Responsibility. Reverence. Resilience. Results.
From George - your Wellbeing prefect:
We are participating in the head above water 24 hour swim-a-thon to support mental fitness on the Northern Beaches. We would appreciate your donation. The money we raise will go towards programs, workshops and initiatives that are, and will continue to, take place in our community. We plan all of this with our partners at Gotcha4Life.

"I want to stress the importance of healthy competition. Competition between your peers, especially during the assessment period, can be one of the best motivators. For example, competing with Ryan for that top spot in maths and physics really pushed me and compelled me to keep studying. So, I urge you, to build a competitive environment with your peers and this doesn’t mean to sabotage them or anything, but to push each other to achieve your best marks possible. "
Callum Brannon
Callum Brannon placed equal first with Ryan Hughes in Mathematics Extension 2, whilst also excelling in English and Studies of Religion. Callum's ATAR rank of 99.30 has earned him a place at the University of New South Wales studying for a double degree in Mathematics and Economics as well as DUX of the College.

"Lent is not a forty day fast, or even a precursor to the paschal mystery of Easter. It is a time to reassess and realign; to become more fully the person that, from all time, our God has called us to be. "

Compassionate people know what it's like to be down on their luck, and they keep those experiences in mind to develop a more empathetic nature, whether through volunteering or just simply networking. "Compassionate people are very outward-focused because they think and feel about other people," Firestone says. "They have that ability to feel others' feelings, so they're very socially connected."
Shrove Tuesday / Pancake Day .
Shrove Tuesday is the day before Lent starts on Ash Wednesday. The name Shrove comes from the old middle English word 'Shriven' meaning to go to confession to say sorry for the wrong things you've done. Lent always starts on a Wednesday, so people went to confessions on the day before. This became known as Shriven Tuesday and then Shrove Tuesday.

Why wear your College Uniform with pride?
Wearing a uniform is a badge of pride, creates an identity for a school and is an important part of being a school student. As a senior student how you wear your uniform will define you. You are not a boy, you are a young man. Now is the time to set yourself aside from the younger years.
If you wear your uniform with pride, it shows that you are being respectful. To get respect you need to give respect. Uniforms give students a sense of belonging to a particular school and create an identity for the school in the community.
Extend your resources- For journals and other extended research material please join your local library.
Enrich your life by letting go of things that don't serve you. Stop the consumer cycle. UNclutter. Find the things that you do value by cleaning up! Valued things that bring you joy or serve a purpose will TURN UP. Value things that add value to your life NOT STUFF that do not serve you. Clean surfaces supports clear thinking. STOP WANTING MORE STUFF.
What would your life be like with less! Clear spaces and clear thinking.
TRY IT. CLEAN UP YOUR SPACE.

BECAUSE I SAID I WOULD!
Learning English, Math and Science is incredibly important. But, if we are not educating the next generation to be decent human beings to one another, then what’s the point of it all? Exemplary leaders create an inspiring vision for the future and motivate and inspire people to engage with that vision.
