Mr. Nadeem Ahmad is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi since August 2017. He started his career as an assistant professor (Ad-hoc) in the Department of Economics, Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi in the year 2014. He possesses the experience of more than six years teaching undergraduate students of BA (H) Economics and BA (program) Economics in the University of Delhi.

He has completed his M.Phil degree from Centre for International Trade and Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 2015. He has completed his post-graduation degree from School of Economics, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad in 2013 and graduation degree from Department of Economics, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in 2011. He is also qualified NET and JRF in Economics in the year 2014. At present he pursuing his Ph.D. from Centre for International Trade and Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

He is an active researcher and has publications in reputed national and international journals. He often participates and presents his research papers in National and International Conferences held in India and Abroad. He also regularly participates in various Seminars, Workshops, Faculty Development Programs and Webinars held in India and in different countries. He is an Individual member of International Health Economic Association (iHEA) and inequality group of Young Scholars Initiative (YSI).
