Dear friends,
Greetings!
I joined the department of Zoology, Deshbandhu College as a faculty in 2005, and have a teaching experience of more than 23 years. I did my Ph. D. in 2016 in Zoology from the Department of Zoology, University of Delhi. Teaching is my passion, but I am active in research as well. So far, I have taught Biochemistry, Immunology, and Medical Diagnostics. In research, I have an interest in Entomology and Microbiology, I have published 14 research papers in refereed journals of international repute. I have contributed to 25 research presentations at international conferences within India and abroad. I have successfully completed one research project.
I have delivered invited talks at national and international conferences and symposiums and have been invited as a resource person in many workshops.
I have worked as a member of the organizing team for various scientific programs held in College. I have organized national and international conferences. I coordinated an International Conference on Natural Products and Human Health-2020, (ICNPHH-2020) which was held at the University Conference Centre, University of Delhi, from February November, 27-29, 2020. Recently, I coordinated Second International Conference on Natural Products and Human Health-2022, which was held at Deshbandhu College from November, 4-6, 2022.
I have very active participation in the corporate life of the College and I have worked on several committees of the College. I am the liaison officer of the SC/ST Cell, and Convener of the Eco-Club of the College. The best outcome of the eco-club is the development of economical, sustainable landscaping and a biodiversity park on the campus from a degraded ecosystem
I always feel happy to help students academically, and in their sports and extracurricular activities for their overall development
Best Wishes
