Goals of DBC-EC


The rationale behind setting the DBC-EC goals is to fulfill the DBC-EC mission, "Conserve Nature for Present and Future", by the DBC-EC members with a scientific, economical, sustainable and practical approach.


Goal 1 Restoration, addition and conservation of flora and fauna in college campus

  1. Sustainable landscaping to increase the numbers and diversity of flora and fauna in college campus.

  2. Adding green cover to minimize the open land to prevent pollution and increasing aesthetic values.

  3. Enrichment and conservation of biodiversity.

  4. Taking initiative for 1000 trees to grow every year in Delhi or outside Delhi, and maintaining them for at least three years.


Goal 2 Bringing students close to nature

  1. Adding monuments, models depicting importance of nature and its conservation.

  2. Adding more facilities/infrastructure in open natural environment.


Goal 3 Sustainable approach for nature conservation

  1. Development of sustainable water harvesting system.

  2. Green commerce.

  3. Sustainable management of used and better material to make it best.

  4. Recreational area for students, teaching and non-teaching members in campus.

  5. Adding nursery to germinate seeds, grow saplings and growing plants through cutting for campus use and for distribution purposes.


Goal 4 Adding infrastructure for research and development and good health

  1. Exploring, inventing and implementing novel ideas in garden system to make it an open laboratories for the students to do their project/assignment in different subject Viz. Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, English, Hindi, Philosophy, Sanskrit and other subjects.

  2. Creating facilities for physical, mental, social and spiritual wellbeing.

  3. Adding values for cleanliness, happy, healthy, peaceful and progressive nation.


Goal 5 Expanding DBC-EC mission

DBC-EC is open for the collaboration with government agency, NGO, social set-up or public private partnership for supporting our mission nationally or Internationally. (All interested collaborators may contact us).
