 Aim of Cluster Hub: Delhi university cluster colleges was established to provide flexibility to students to choose the courses according to their interests and future prospects, wherein, the colleges of the university in the cluster will share their resources, to the extent possible, with other colleges, located in its vicinity, so as to provide more choices to students and overcome the resource constrains and limitations at the end of each college. 

 About Deshbandhu College: Deshbandhu College, established in 1952 is the oldest and the largest co-educational institution in South Delhi, and promotes Arts, Commerce and Science courses. The college offers seven post graduate and eighteen undergraduate courses in disciplines ranging from languages/literature, History, Political Science, Economics, Commerce and all major branches of Sciences and Mathematics. It caters more than 5000 students every year. Presently, it has been ranked 28th in NIRF ranking in India. The sprawling campus of Deshbandhu college, with its lawns, gardens and playground provides a healthy environment for all round development of the generations to come. The campus is dotted with an administrative block, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar block, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam  lock, Swami Vivekananda auditorium, a huge library, newly developed extension of science block with all state-of-art facilities, well-equipped laboratories, together with students common rooms, gymnasium, canteen, photocopy facility, web access center, medical room, banking facility, a seminar hall and a botanical garden. The newly developed biodiversity park and i4 - center for research and training are other additional state-of–art facilities in the college. The college has fully functional research laboratories to pursue Doctoral and Post Doctoral research.
