Last but not the least was RJ Abhishek who shared the insights about his profession as an RJ, the trick behind talking to the whole of the city but making an individual feel that he/she is the only one being addressed.

The common thread one could observe from all the rich experience of the speakers was there is no substitute for gaining experience- be out in the arena and face it, put your body and soul into fulfilling your own life's journey, grow your Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), Social Quotient (SQ) and your Adversity Quotient (AQ).

The most awaited event of commerce department MINERVA, which is the Annual Commerce Festival was organized on 30th and 31st January 2019. A lot of preparation went into the planning of the events. Representatives and volunteers got together to take the choices of events that students wanted to participate in. Most of the events were those held earlier too but students tried to make their formats more interesting. The most sought after game of PUBG was added on popular demand. There were deliberations on it being a violent game to how it will be handled technically so that there is no chance of participants maneuvering their way into winning unethically. Such deliberations teach students to do teamwork.

The festival was inaugurated by Ms Rita Mishra, our chief guest for the function. She is a well-known HR Professional with work-experience at conglomerates like AonHewitt, Genpact and JLL. She had an interesting interaction especially with the office-bearers about their journey in organizing the event. She thus highlighted the importance of participation and not winning. Our Principal Dr. Rajiv Aggarwal also addressed the students emphasizing that commerce is an important stream for college and encouraged the students to participate. The Teacher-in-charge, Dr. Surabhi Dhingra welcomed all the department teachers as well who actively participated in steering the festival.

A number of competitions were organized for the students of various colleges in Delhi NCR.
