Gulshan Kumar (1951 – 1997) was a distinguished alumnus of Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi, New Delhi. He was an Indian businessman, film, and music producer who was the founder of the Super Cassettes Industries Limited (T-Series) music label in the Bollywood industry. He founded T-Series in the 1980s and established it as a leading record label in the 1990s.

Krishan Kumar Aggarwal (1958 – 2021) was a distinguished alumnus of Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi, New Delhi. He was an Indian physician and senior cardiologist who was President of the Confederation of Medical Association of Asia and Oceania (CMAAO), President of the Heart Care Foundation of India, and the Past National President of the Indian Medical Association. In 2010, the Government of India honored him with the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award, for his contributions to the field of medicine.

Prabhu Chawla (born 2 October 1946) is an Indian journalist. He was born in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, British India. He is an alumnus of the Deshbandhu College University of Delhi. He started his career as an economics lecturer at Delhi University. He is the Editorial Director of “The New Indian Express”, a Chennai-based newspaper in India. Earlier he was the Editor-in-Chief of the same newspaper.

Ravish Kumar (born 5 December 1974) is an Indian journalist, author, and media personality. He is the Senior Executive Editor of NDTV India. He hosts a number of programs including the channel's flagship weekday show Prime Time, Hum Log, Ravish Ki Report, and Des Ki Baat.

He has twice been conferred with Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award for the Best Journalist of the Year and became the fifth Indian journalist to receive the Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2019.
