Google classroom - a free web service provided by Google for streamlining process of teaching learning in in the field of education, was introduced to the participants. The complete interface – Streams, Classwork, People and Grades - was demonstrated in the session, starting from creating class, adding students, teachers and co-teachers. Posting announcements and comments by teacher and students both was shown. Assigning of tests, quiz, assignments to students and receiving back on the same platform and grading them. Different types of assignments formats with rubrics was also demonstrated. Also it was shown how this tool can check for plagiarism by using the originality of work feature. Participants got an exposure how to create there own google site and link it to the assignments/announcements in the Google classroom so that they are available on the site.
