Data Representations at Home
- Ask your student to help interpret the data when you see simple graphs and charts in books, newspapers, or product packaging.
- Help your child create a frequency table to hang on the wall or refrigerator using a daily activity, such as reading, for a week. Then have your child create a dot plot to represent the number of minutes reading each day of the last week.
