ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS
Submission of Dayspring Lottery Application between February 1st through March 7th.
Approved candidacy status (meets with Academic Advisor to review Early College program).
Complete Dayspring Enrollment Packet.
All required materials must be submitted to Dayspring Early College Academy by the published deadlines or students will be ineligible for enrollment.
No exceptions will be made after these published deadlines.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
All students residing in Pasco County.
Learners who demonstrate a desire for academic excellence.
Must maintain an unweighted 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at the time of application, and maintain said GPA for the duration of the program.
Achieve a qualifying score on the SAT, ACT, or PERT by 11th grade.
Must maintain a “C” or better in all attempted college-level classes.
Must satisfy any course prerequisites for college-level courses.
Students who fail to meet the eligibility requirements will assume probationary status.
How Do I Apply?
Step 1: Complete Dayspring Lottery Application (between February 1st through March 7th).
Step 2) Candidacy numbers assigned. All applicants will be assigned a candidacy number and will receive notification.
Step 3) Respond to the invite and attend a Candidacy meeting. If learners fail to attend a candidacy meeting, the application will be considered declined. Candidacy meeting times and locations will be provided in the invitation.
Step 4) Enrollment emails will be sent.
Step 5) Complete enrollment forms.
Step 6) Attend Welcome Night (date to be determined) and will be provided upon completion of enrollment forms.
