How To
Fusion 360
First I made a huge grid using the box tool to get the general shape of the chessboard with. shallow boarder so the epoxy wouldn't spill out.
Next I used the extruison tool to make the shapes of the holes and the sections with the hole only have .4 form the bottom part and the stock is at 2 inches
Finally you want to create your toolpath with the 2d pocket tool so that you can pour that epoxy later.

Next you want to CNC mill the peice of wood of your choosing.
After the CNC you want to make ure sure that the pockets are clear of dust and then pour the holes with colored epoxy to about 75% with a syringe.Â
Wait for epoxy to dry and then glue down flowers to each hole and wait for glue to dry. then fill the rest of the hole with clear epoxy.
Finishing
Next you want to cut away the boarder so you can see the sides and cut away the top and bottom so that they are flush and you can see the epoxy
Cut you inlay shape with a table saw at a 45 degree angle. finally you want to finishing with a light brushing of epoxy on all sides to make it all pop.
