The original images for this plot were designed through prompts in Midjourney. My goal was to create the overall composition with Midjourney and to then adapt that general layout and structure to something that could be drawn using markers on our large format AxiDraw A1 plotter. Midjourney prompts and adjustments
Adobe Illustrator to convert to vectors using Image Trace.
Separate the various colors to individual Illustrator layers.
Plot the image using Inkscape / Axidraw

This is the first plot that I created based on the workflow described above. Ultimately this piece doesn't feel complete. I would like to go back and find a way to create a "wash" of colors using the plotter and watercolors or a similar medium to develop a background of swirling colors and then re-plot the image seen here on top of that wash. I think this will give the image much more depth and more interesting complexity. Plus, this will give me the additional opportunity to explore painting with a plotter which is a whole other challenge...
