The Roger Slaton Memorial Scholarship (available for the class of 2026 only) can be found in the front office at DCHS or contestants can email lori.grant@dawsoncountyschools.org for a copy. See flyer for due dates.

FAQ:

There is no talent portion of this pageant.
Dress is formal or Sunday best only.
There will be no clothing changes.
Only Jr. Miss and Miss pageants will be required to speak.
Pageant day contestant arrival times will be announced at rehearsal (approximately 1 hour before pageant).

Senior contestants eligible for The Roger Slaton Memorial Scholarship - see flyer for specific due dates - due earlier than other contestants not applying for scholarship.
Contestants can only win each pageant category title once. Ex: If a Tiny Miss contestant is chosen as the winner for that title in PreK, Kindergarten, or 1st grade, she would have to wait until 3rd grade to compete for the Little Miss pageant winner title. She cannot enter the Tiny Miss pageant after being chosen the Tiny Miss title winner in previous year that she's in that grade range. All runner-ups are eligible to compete for the title in their grade category more than once until chosen as the title winner.
