Congratulations on a great 2024-2025 season!
Welcome to the website for Dawson County High School's theatre program! Our goal is to teach the dramatic arts, technical skills, and team-building onstage and backstage. Join us as part of one of our shows, a student in a drama class, or as a parent volunteer. We also host events for members of our thespian troupe, cast and crew of an after-school production, and for those curious about what we do in the DCHS Performing Arts Center. Check us out!

This performance will be conducted in the competition format, where the students must assemble, execute, and clean up all aspects of the production in 55 minutes or less. The play is a modern adaptation of a classic Greek tragedy and may be unsettling for younger audiences due to mild topics, such as death and violence. A rating of PG-13 is suggested. Please contact the troupe director at alexis.brooks@dawsoncountyschools.org with any questions or concerns.
