Since its launch in August 2015, Davison Early College (DEC) has provided students with a unique head start through a strategic partnership with Mott Community College. This intensive three-year program enables Davison High School students to earn their diploma while simultaneously working toward an associate degree, professional credentials, or transferable college credits.

The journey begins with an application during the fall of the sophomore year. Accepted students start a one credit course in the 2nd semester of their sophomore year.  Then students experience a blended curriculum in 11th grade, increasing their college-level workload through the 12th grade, and culminating in a full college schedule during a dedicated 13th year.

To ensure success, DEC students are backed by a comprehensive support network, including dedicated guidance from the Early College Coordinator, Mott Community College staff, and the full range of resources from both institutions.
