As a result of Valkeakoski experience, we are fulfilling a concrete proposal that involves Como’s car mechanic enterprises from the beginning in the definition and the drafting of new traineeship programs. This cooperation will enable, during the internship, both the implementation and the evaluation of students’ abilities not covered by their study courses. This proposal also aims to meet local companies’ requirements and broaden our students’ expertise.

Together with AUTOVITTANI (Service S.N.C. Vittani), SIMA Srl di BERNASCONI di Uggiate Trevano, CARROZZERIA RODA di Erba and Mr. Vanoli Fabio, (president of Como’s coachbuilder trade association and vicepresident of Car-Mechanics within Como’s Confartigianato) owner of Tecnocar paintwork in Alzate Brianza, an evaluation worksheet ( Allegato 7 3SA Trasporti-Carrozzeria) has been realized which indicates the tasks and the competences of the bodywork sector and enables to share activities and aims. Afterwards, between last November and December, 3 students of the class 3SA, had the chance to do their internship at the body shops AUTOVITTANI, SIMA and RODA.It was the beginning of a cooperation trial between our school and some car-mechanic enterprises of Como’s area, that follows the Finnish internship example observed in Valkeakoski at our partner school in Erasmus+ Vet ECT project.
