Conference for the 2026-27 School Year

Ellis is proud to compete in the Tri‑County Conference alongside Rowan‑Salisbury Schools and Mooresville City Schools. As an all‑public school conference, this partnership provides consistent guidelines and fosters competitive, developmentally appropriate athletic opportunities for our students.

The Tri-County Conference consists of 12 schools which are split into 2 divisions:

East Divison: Corriher Lipe, China Grove, Erwin, North Rowan, Southeast, Knox

West Division: North Davie, South Davie, Ellis, Mooresville, Selma Burke, West Rowan

Sports by Season

Fall -(August 1- Oct. 6th) Football, M/W Tennis, Softball, Cross Country, Golf, Cheer

Winter - (Oct. 1- Dec 14th) Varsity - M/W Basketball, Cheer, Wrestling

Winter - (Jan.4- Feb. 28th) JV-M/W Basketball

Spring - (Mar 1- May 8th) M/W Soccer, Baseball, JV/V Volleyball, M/W Track

Attending an Athletic Event?

Clear Bag Policy required at all Davie County athletic events. (FAQs, Press Release)

Admission for regular‑season athletic events is $6 for adults and school‑aged children; playoff admission is $7.
