Third Grade 

Third grade is an exciting time for students as they move from the lower grades of elementary school to the upper grades. Students begin the transition from learning to read to reading to learn and embark on new topics like multiplication and division, fractions and beginning to write in cursive. This is also the first year of state testing and while we know this can be stressful, we inject lots of fun throughout the year, like multiplication ice-cream parties, pizza parties, field trips and water days.  Students will develop in both their independence and confidence as they progress through third grade. We are a fun loving, energetic team and we are very excited to be working with you and your child!
