North Davie wants grading to be fair, clear, and the same across our school. We also want grades to show what students have learned and what they still need help with.  With that in mind, we will be following the district's new grading policy to ensure we are all on the same page.  More information can be found on the district's website.  

Preparation Assignments (15%)

These assignments help students learn something new with support from the teacher or classmates.

Practice Assignments (35%)

These assignments help students practice skills while they are still learning. Students may make mistakes during practice, and that is okay. Teachers use these assignments to give feedback and help students improve.

Performance Assignments (50%)

These assignments show what students can do on their own after learning and practicing.
