Class overview
The major focus of this course is North Carolina state history with the integration of local and national history. This integrated study helps students understand and appreciate the legacy of our democratic republic and to develop the skills needed to engage responsibly and intelligently as North Carolinians
About me
I’m a proud graduate of Appalachian State University—go Mountaineers! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My passion for history began in high school during my American history class, where inspiring teachers brought the past to life in engaging and meaningful ways. Their enthusiasm sparked my own interest, and now I’m excited to share that same love of history with the next generation of students.
