When looking for information and images, it is important to select sources that are up-to-date and reputable (the author knows what he/she is talking about!). Mrs. Allred highly recommends starting with Britannica and Discovery Education. If you are looking for copyright-friendly images for a project, keep scrolling down. If you are looking for how to cite sources, keep scrolling down.

Log into your NCEdCloud account and choose Britannica from the applications. Search by keyword and find tons of articles, images, and videos. Stay tuned for a tutorial video! Britannica provides citations.
Sign in using your Google Account. You can choose to stay logged in on your device. Search by keyword and find articles, images, and videos. Stay tuned for a tutorial video! Discovery Education provides citations.
Copyright Friendly Images
Copyright Friendly Images
When using images, it is important to use pictures from sources that have given permission. Doing a Google Image search will not always yield results that are copyright-friendly. Therefore, Mrs. Allred recommends looking at the following websites, as they have given permission to our students to use images for their school projects and assignments. As a plus, they also provide citations.
