TRAINING THE STREET

Supported by Robert Rostan ('88), Wells Fargo, and the Matthews Center

Training the Street (TTS) is the world’s leading financial learning services company, offering state-of-the-art, instructor-led courses in financial modeling and corporate valuation to corporate and educational clients. Founded in 1999, TTS’s clients include the world’s leading universities, investment banks, consulting firms, and Fortune 500 companies. TTS leads workshops for more than 100 academic clients, including the top business schools in the United States. As you enter a role in financial services, as an intern or analyst, it is likely that TTS will provide the initial training you receive within your firm.

In cooperation with Robert Rostan ('88), CFO of TTS, and Wells Fargo, the Matthews Center offers several TTS workshops on campus throughout the academic year. These workshops typically focus on the various roles in banking/financial services, financial statement analysis, corporate valuation, and Excel skills. Students interested in roles in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, corporate banking, financial services, and/or consulting are all encouraged to attend. These workshops are free to students and students can attend each year they are at Davidson to sharpen and refresh their skills to be prepared for technical interviews and their intern/full-time roles.
