You’ve just joined a mission-driven company helping small business owners access the capital and services they need to grow. The steps below will guide you through your first days and set the foundation for long-term success.
7 Steps When Starting (in order)
1) Get Certified
Before you begin serving clients, you must complete our DAC Broker Certification in the Learning Management System (LMS). This ensures you understand our products, compliance policies, and client service standards. Certification unlocks full commission eligibility and prepares you to represent DAC the right way.
To access your LMS portal for the first time, click the link in the LMS Invitation Email sent when you joined DAC. Your username is your Broker ID#, but you must create a password since the LMS is separate from your DAC Back Office. If you can’t find the invitation email, no worries! Visit the LMS Password Reset page, enter your Broker ID# to finish setting up your account.
Step 2) Complete Business Funding Training
Next, dive into our Business Funding Training. You’ll learn who our ideal clients are, how our funding process works, and how to match business owners with the best offers. This training gives you the knowledge and confidence to start having conversations that lead to approvals.
Step 3) Review Comp Plan Documents
Understanding how you earn is key. In this Compensation Plan Overview, you’ll learn the details of our commission ladder, overrides, bonuses, and how performance impacts your pay. Knowing the comp plan helps you set goals and maximize your earnings.
Step 4) Complete Your Private Game Plan (with Your Enroller/Leadership)
Schedule a one-on-one session with your enroller or leadership team. They’ll walk you through a personalized launch plan, answer questions, and help you map out your first 30 days so you can start strong.
Step 5) Climb Up the Personal Commission Ladder.
Your personal commission starts at 40% and can grow to 80% as you fund more clients. Each level you reach stays with you—meaning your efforts now set you up for higher earnings on every future client.
Step 6) Build Your Agency Team (Optional)
If you choose, you can grow your own team of brokers and earn overrides on their production. This is completely optional, but it’s a powerful way to create leveraged income while helping others succeed.
Step 7) Attend Daily Zoom Discussions
Stay plugged in to training, updates, and success tips by joining our daily Zoom sessions. Each day has a focus—funding, team building, payment processing, or leadership—so you can stay informed and keep your business growing.
