Davenport School District Sustainability

Purpose: To investigate and take actions which promote sustainability and reduce budget expenditures. We will meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Sustainability: The quality of not being harmful to the environment or depleting natural resources, and thereby supporting long-term ecological balance. Also, living within the resources of the planet without damaging the Environment now or in the future.
