Musical Pit
Each spring the NHS fine arts department performs a Broadway style musical. Instrumentalists have the opportunity to play in the pit, which accompanies the actors/actresses on stage. This year's production will be Mary Poppins. The musical pit is directed by Kaci Stirling.

The pit for In the Heights was awarded "Outstanding Student Orchestra" by the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards organization, which is the highest honor awarded to student pit orchestras.
