About me
I am a graduate of Western Michigan University where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree with a Biomedical Science major and Chemistry minor. I then earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University. I have combined higher education and teaching experience of over 10 years. I have taught in the vocational, community college, and university settings. Additionally, I have worked as a healthcare professional in the retail, hospital and corporate settings. My passion for teaching comes from my enjoyment of empowering others with knowledge. There is no greater reward for me than to see a student become a critical thinker and a problem solver. It is very gratifying to watch a student develop the skills to be able to confidently approach a problem and to systematically go through the process of solving that problem while realizing the real-world applications of what they are learning.
