Fall Up is a single-player iOS tilt-ball game published by Datamirra. This policy explains what data the app and its third-party services may collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Please read this policy together with Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/), which govern services we integrate.
1. Summary
• We do not collect personal information (name, email, address, contacts, photos).
• We do not require an account or sign-in.
• Game progress is stored locally on your device only.
• The app may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and advertising data for ad delivery and measurement.
• If you sign in to Apple Game Center, your total best time is submitted to Apple's leaderboard.
• You can opt out of personalized ad tracking at any time via iOS Settings.
2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored on your device only, via iOS UserDefaults, and never sent to our servers:
• Highest cleared level index — Resume from where you left off
• Per-level best clear times — Star ratings and personal bests
• Per-level star counts (0–3) — Level Select display
• Audio settings (volume, mute) — Persist your preferences
• "Onboarding seen" flag — Skip tutorial on subsequent launches
• Consent and tracking preferences — Remember your privacy choices
You can delete all of this data at any time by uninstalling the app.
3. Hardware Sensors
The app uses your device's accelerometer and gyroscope (CoreMotion framework) only for in-game tilt control. No motion data is recorded, transmitted, or stored. iOS will ask for your permission the first
time the app accesses these sensors.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
This app may display advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC. Through AdMob, Google may collect:
• Device identifiers (IDFA / IDFV) — to deliver and measure ads
• Advertising interactions — impressions, clicks, view duration
• Approximate location — derived from your IP address, not GPS
• Device information — model, OS version, language, screen size
• App interaction data — events related to ad serving
Google may use this data to:
• Deliver ads relevant to your interests (only if you allow tracking)
• Measure ad performance and prevent fraud
• Combine with data from other apps and services in Google's network (only if you allow tracking)
If you decline tracking (see Section 7), Google will only serve non-personalized ads, which use limited contextual signals rather than your device identifier.
For full details on Google's data practices, see Google's Privacy Policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
For details on how AdMob collects and uses data, see:
https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
5. Game Center (Optional)
If you are signed in to Apple Game Center on your device, the app submits one data point — your total best time (the sum of your fastest clear times across all completed levels) — to Apple's global Game
Center leaderboard. This allows you to compare speedrun times with other players.
• Sign-in is optional. The game is fully playable without Game Center.
• We do not access, store, or process your Apple ID, alias, profile photo, or any other personal data — Apple's Game Center handles all of that.
• We do not submit per-level times, only the aggregate total.
• You can sign out of Game Center anytime via iOS Settings → Game Center.
Game Center is governed by Apple's privacy policy:
https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
6. Third-Party Services
We integrate the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
Google AdMob — Display advertisements
https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google User Messaging Platform — GDPR / CCPA consent management
https://policies.google.com/privacy
Apple Game Center — Leaderboards
https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
We do not control these services' data practices. Please review their policies independently.
7. Your Choices
App Tracking Transparency (iOS 14.5+)
On first launch, iOS will display a system prompt asking whether to allow Fall Up to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites.
You can change this preference anytime under:
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Fall Up
If you decline tracking:
• You will still see advertisements.
• Ads will be non-personalized (based on context, not your device identifier).
• The game functions identically.
• Ad revenue is lower, but no personal data is shared.
EU / UK / Switzerland Users (GDPR)
On first launch within the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will see a consent form managed by Google User Messaging Platform. The form asks for your consent to share data with
advertising partners.
• You may grant or refuse consent for each purpose.
• You can update your preferences anytime by reopening the consent form. We will provide an in-app entry point under Settings in a future update.
• Refusing consent will result in non-personalized ads.
You have the right under GDPR to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact official@datamirra.com.
California Users (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to:
• Know what personal information is collected and how it is used.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising purposes.
• Delete personal information held by us (limited, since we hold none on our servers).
• Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
To opt out of personalized advertising on California devices, decline the ATT prompt or email official@datamirra.com.
Brazil Users (LGPD)
LGPD rights similar to GDPR apply. Contact official@datamirra.com to exercise data subject rights.
8. Children's Privacy
Fall Up is rated 4+ but is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal
information through the app, please contact official@datamirra.com and we will investigate.
Note: Google AdMob's policies require advertising delivered to users under 13 to be limited to non-personalized ads. If you are a parent or guardian, you can configure Family Sharing and Screen Time controls
on iOS to manage advertising exposure.
9. Data Retention
Local game data (UserDefaults) — Retained by your device — Until you delete the app
Game Center total best time — Retained by Apple — Per Apple's Game Center retention policy
AdMob advertising data — Retained by Google — Per Google's data retention policy
We do not operate any servers and do not retain user data on our own infrastructure.
10. International Data Transfers
Data collected by Google AdMob and Apple Game Center may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Google and Apple maintain appropriate
safeguards for such transfers under applicable data protection laws (Standard Contractual Clauses, EU-US Data Privacy Framework, etc.).
11. Security
We rely on industry-standard practices implemented by Apple iOS, Google AdMob SDK, and Apple Game Center for data security. UserDefaults data on your device is protected by iOS Data Protection at rest. No
system is perfectly secure; we make no guarantees that data cannot be intercepted in transit by malicious actors.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on first launch of an updated app version,
or via the App Store description.
Previous versions of this policy are available upon request at official@datamirra.com.
