Foreign English teacher Hardeelyn Villalva
Hello, everyone. My name is Hardeelyn Villalva. I am 24 years old. I am a foreign English teacher from the Philippines and I have more than 4 years of experience teaching English as a second language to students from all over the world. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging. I always strive to be a positive role model and cheerleader for my students, to be a listening ear, and a knowledgeable resource. My friends and family think I am funny and I laugh at just about everything. I love adventures which is exactly why I decided to work here in Taiwan. I like meeting new people and learning about other people’s culture and I believe that Taiwan is the best place to start as the people here are the kindest I know! I love hiking and I’m planning to climb at least 50 peaks while I explore Taiwan. Or maybe 10. My ultimate goal is to be able to help Taiwanese students become confident English speakers. I plan on achieving this goal by being consistent and patient with my students. And also by creating a classroom that is warm and welcoming. It has been my great pleasure working at Da Shiou Elementary school.
