Mrs. Sensor

Mrs. Sensor has been at DuBois Area Middle School since the fall of 2001. She loves her job and the students she works with! Mrs. Sensor teaches 5th and 6th grade Music Classes and the approx. 300 member 6-8th grade choirs. After regular school hours she directs the Middle School Play, Select Choirs, and BYOU Ukulele Ensemble!

Mrs. Sensor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Education with specialization in Mid-level education from Walden University. She has been certified as both a Google and Apple Educator. Mrs. Sensor has been both a vocalist and flute player for many events state wide, and she is an active member of PMEA where she recently served as the District 3 President and is the current Chorus Fest Coordinator. She is the former chairperson of the PMEA State Student Performing Events Council.

Mrs. Sensor has been very active in local community theater . Currently she serves on the board of directors for the Reitz Theater in DuBois where she has most recently directed The Million Dollar Quartet and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
