Adolescence can be a confusing time filled with rapid changes in emotions, needs and goals. Many parents find it challenging to keep up with their child during this stage of life. This free lunchtime webinar, “Do You Get Me?”, is designed to equip parents with the skills and confidence to better understand and support their youths.
Jointly organised by the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) and Fei Yue Community Services, the session will highlight common stressors faced by youths, how to recognise early signs of mental health distress, and simple yet effective ways to connect and communicate. Parents will also be introduced to resources and avenues of support available in Singapore.
Whether you are a parent or caregiver of a teenager or young adult aged 12 to 25, this webinar offers practical strategies to strengthen your relationship and provide timely support when it matters most.
