In some cases you may run into barriers while trying to access the full text of a journal article. Never pay to access an article. The library has a couple of ways that you can request access to these resources.
Dart Doc: DartDoc is our broader interlibrary loan service, enabling the requesting and delivery of books, articles, patents, microfilm and more for your research
Borrow Direct: With BorrowDirect you can search other libraries (Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Duke, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, MIT, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, and Yale) for materials you may need.
If you have never used Dart Doc before, use this link to set up an account: https://dartmouth.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/berry/illiad.dll?Action=10&Form=79
You only need to do this once. After that you can use this URL: https://dartmouth.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/berry/logon.html
