Professor Scheideler received BS degrees in electrical engineering and biomedical engineering from Duke University and a PhD degree in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley, where he studied semiconductor devices and thin film electronics. Before joining the engineering faculty at Dartmouth in 2019, he worked as a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, studying thermomechanical reliability and scalable fabrication of perovskite solar cells.Â
Yanan is from Langfang, China. She completed her MS in inorganic chemistry from Beijing Normal University, China and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona. Her research focuses on scalable fabrication of metal halide perovskite solar cells and modules. In Yanan's free time, she enjoys cooking and traveling.
Minh Nhut Le, originally from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, holds an MS and PhD in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, Republic of Korea. His research focuses on metal oxide semiconductor thin-film transistors and the development of fabrication processes for flexible, stretchable, and printed electronics.
Alyssa Grube received a BS in Engineering Science and Mechanics and an Associate's in International Engineering Leadership and Development from Penn State University, where they also researched high temperature microbial fuel cells for wastewater treatment. They received a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they studied electrically conductive protein-based textiles and MXenes. At Dartmouth College, Alyssa will be researching MXenes and their composites using AI/ML for high throughput experimentation.Â
In their free time Alyssa enjoys spending time with their husband, Dr. Eric Linke, and their dog, Disco. They also enjoy sewing, knitting, crochet, fashion history, reading, Martial Arts, drawing, painting, writing, Classical Indian Dance, cooking/baking, and playing video games. They are a member of AICHE, AICHE LGBTQ+ and Allies, the Knitting Guild Association, and the Society for Creative Anachronism.
Simon is originally from Charleston, WV and completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Dartmouth in 2022, focusing on electronics and semiconductors. He is interested in semiconductor materials, circuit design, and low-power sensors. In his free time, he likes cooking, skiing, and mixing music.
Samuel Ong is from Ashburn, VA and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He earned his BS in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Materials Science and his BA in Music from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. His research interests include the nanofabrication of novel electronic materials and electrochemical systems. In his down time he enjoys hiking, music composition, and games.Â
Masha is from Kyiv, Ukraine. She completed her BA in Physics with a minor in Mathematics in 2022 from Mount Holyoke College, MA. Her research interests include the development of high-efficiency solar energy harvesting devices. In her free time, she likes reading, surfing, and traveling.
Ene Michelle Igomu is from Lagos, Nigeria and she earned her Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering in 2022 at Afe Babalola University. Currently her research interests lie at the intersection of renewable energy materials, nanotechnology and 3D modeling & printing. Beyond academics, Ene actively enjoys nature photography, tennis and podcasting.
Jake is from Lincoln, MA, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering along with a Master's degree in Materials Science at Dartmouth. His research interests include scaling nanomaterials fabrication from lab-scale to industry-scale production, materials modeling, and the development of automated systems for materials characterization and processing control. Outside the lab, Jake enjoys skiing and ski instruction, coaching and playing soccer, and hiking.
Arses is originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, and is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree at Dartmouth. A prospective Engineering modified with Computer Science major, his research focuses on the optimization of aerosol jet printing for the fabrication of printed electronics. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and watching sports.
