Principal Investigator:

Assistant Prof. William J. Scheideler

Professor Scheideler received BS degrees in electrical engineering and biomedical engineering from Duke University and a PhD degree in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley, where he studied semiconductor devices and thin film electronics. Before joining the engineering faculty at Dartmouth in 2019, he worked as a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, studying thermomechanical reliability and scalable fabrication of perovskite solar cells. 

Postdoctoral Researchers:

Anand Tiwari

Anand is from UP, India. He completed his MS in Physics (Solid State Physics) from Banaras Hindu University, India, and PhD in Chemistry from Sungkyunkwan University, Republic of Korea. His research interests include 3-dimensional nanopatterning, and structural/chemical modification of functional materials for electrochemical energy conversion and energy storage applications.

Yanan Li

Yanan is from Langfang, China. She completed her MS in inorganic chemistry from Beijing Normal University, China and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona. Her research focuses on scalable fabrication of metal halide perovskite solar cells and modules. In Yanan's free time, she enjoys cooking and traveling.


PhD Students:

Julia Huddy

Julia is from Newtown, PA, but went to school in Carlisle, PA at Dickinson College where she completed her BS in math and physics in 2019. She is pursuing research on renewable energy devices as well as energy harvesting and storage. 

Andrew Hamlin

NSF Graduate Fellow, Dartmouth PhD Innovation Fellow

Andrew is from Pelham, NY and attended Union College in Schenectady, NY where he completed his BS in mechanical engineering in 2019. His research interests include design and engineering of solar energy technologies.  He enjoys trail running, skiing, longboarding and cooking. 

Md Saifur Rahman

Dartmouth PhD Innovation Fellow

Saifur is from Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his BSc and MASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dhaka and York University, respectively. His research interests include materials for flexible electronics and fabrication of wearable sensors.

Simon Agnew

Simon is originally from Charleston, WV and completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Dartmouth in 2022, focusing on electronics and semiconductors. He is interested in semiconductor materials, circuit design, and low-power sensors. In his free time, he likes cooking, skiing, and mixing music.

Emma Ricci-De Lucca

Emma Ricci-De Lucca is from Lower Merion, PA and Pisa, Italy. She completed her BS in General Engineering and BA in French and Francophone Studies in 2021 at Swarthmore College, PA, and her MEng in Biomedical Engineering with a certificate in Medical Device Design and another in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Duke University, NC in 2022. Her research interests include the application of flexible electronic sensors in wearable devices for monitoring of women's health. In her free time, she enjoys rescuing cats, playing volleyball, and designing digital content.

Samuel Ong

Samuel Ong is from Ashburn, VA and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He earned his BS in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Materials Science and his BA in Music from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. His research interests include the nanofabrication of novel electronic materials and electrochemical systems. In his down time he enjoys hiking, music composition, and games. 



Masha Klymenko

Masha is from Kyiv, Ukraine. She completed her BA in Physics with a minor in Mathematics in 2022 from Mount Holyoke College, MA. Her research interests include the development of high-efficiency solar energy harvesting devices. In her free time, she likes reading, surfing, and traveling.




Ene Michelle Igomu

Ene Michelle Igomu is from Lagos, Nigeria and she earned her Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering in 2022 at Afe Babalola University. Currently her research interests lie at the intersection of renewable energy materials, nanotechnology and 3D modeling & printing. Beyond academics, Ene actively enjoys nature photography, tennis and podcasting.

Vibhuv Reddy

Vibhuv is originally from Bangalore, India. He is a dual-degree student at Wesleyan University and Dartmouth College and his majors are mathematics, philosophy, and engineering. He is interested in the interaction between engineering innovation and society.

Matthew is from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. A prospective engineering major, he is interested in the intersection of physics, chemistry, and environmental science for emerging clean energy technologies. When not doing homework or research, he enjoys playing the violin and hiking.
